The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs has invited applications for conferring the Dilip Sardessai Sports Excellence Award for the year 2024 -2025 from eligible sportspersons through the respective State Level Sports Associations, duly recognized by the Sports Authority of Goa.
The award comprises of a Bronze Plaque, a Citation and Rs. 2 lakhs and will be awarded to the highest achiever amongst Goan Sportspersons representing India at recognized International Senior Level Sports Competition during the preceding year (i.e April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025) in Senior Category only, like Olympics, world Championships, Asian Games, CommonWealth games and other International recognized events. The Sportsperson should have a minimum 15 years domicile in Goa.
The application form can be collected from the Sports Section of Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs Office at Campal, Panaji during the working days from 10 am to 5 pm. and should be submitted in person or before July 31, 2025. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
