Churchill Brothers FC General Manager, Aditya Barros, expressed his satisfaction following his side’s 3-1 victory over Sporting Club Bengaluru in the I-League.
Speaking to The Goan Everyday after the match, Barros said, “I’m very happy with the win and the result. We controlled the match completely and were the better side, even playing away at Bengaluru. We had the opportunity to score more goals.” He added, “This was a crucial three points, and we played effectively against a strong team. All our players were fully prepared, and I’m delighted for the club's fans with this victory. Everyone is committed to giving their best. We’re in a good phase now and must capitalize on this momentum in the upcoming matches.”
Barros also highlighted the team’s difficult situation before the match, with two key players still recovering from injuries. Despite this, he praised the efforts of every player, saying, “All the players gave their best, and I’m completely satisfied with their performance.”
Concluding, he remarked, “I’m pleased with the victory and hope we can build on this strong performance in our upcoming matches. This was one of the best matches the team has played.”
