Dempo Sports Club scored a comfortable 2-0 win over Jeippiar Institute of Technology FC in the AIFF Third Division I league, at Ella Ground, Old Goa, on Monday

However, the relentless efforts bore fruit when Ariston Costa nodded home off Laximanrao Rane's cross in the 37th minute. Dempo hit back with more intensity after the break and soon Laximanrao Rane connected a cross to Saigomang Doungel in the 53rd minute to double the lead.
Dempo coach Samir Naik was satisfied with the results but was not happy with the team's performance. "It wasn't very nice. We had a game plan and we knew what we wanted to do. We miss several scoring chances I am disappointed," opined Samir.
