GFDC Siolim, in association with the Goa Football Development Council, Village Panchayat Siolim-Marna, and the Child Committee, successfully organised the 3rd edition of the PK Banerjee The Little Tiger Champions 2025 tournament at St Anthony's Church ground. The tournament featured competitions in the U-10, U-12, and U-15 categories.
In the U-10 category, GFDC Siolim emerged victorious by defeating GFDC Vagator 3-1. The U-12 title was also claimed by GFDC Siolim, who secured a 3-0 win over GFDC Mayem. In the U-15 category, Rai Heroes narrowly beat Gubla Vaddo Boys 1-0.
The event was graced by the presence of the Siolim MLA Delilah Lobo, who was the Chief Guest and presented the trophies to the winners. Other dignitaries in attendance included Fransquinha Oliveira, Member Secretary of GFDC; Franklin Roncon, Executive Officer of GFDC; Amit Morajkar, Sarpanch of VP Siolim-Marna; Panch Sharmila Vernekar; Ex-Sarpanch Sylvester Fernandes; Deputy Sarpanch Nilesh Vaigankar of Sodiem; Ex-Sarpanch Francis Fernandes of Sodiem; and former GFDC Council member Pradeep Chodankar.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Gregory E. Dsouza, Centre Head of GFDC Siolim, while Clarissa Camelo skillfully compered the program.
