Paldem SC secured a convincing 6-2 victory over Batora United to advance to the next round of the 5th Cumborda Sports Club football tournament, held at St. Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Monday.
Nick got Paldem SC off to a flying start, scoring in the 3rd minute. Batora United quickly responded with a long-range strike from Roy to level the scores. However, Nick continued his impressive form, adding a second goal to put Paldem SC ahead. Finzay then extended the lead to 3-1 with a superb finish.
Early in the second half, Edmon brought Batora United back into the game with a goal, but Nick completed his hat-trick by the 40th minute. Godwin added two more goals to seal a dominant 6-2 win for Paldem SC.
Edmon Dias of Batora United was awarded Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
