United Boys of Dando Colva secured a convincing 3-1 victory over United Sports Club Seraulim in the Salcete Zone GFA Third Division League at the St. John the Baptist Ground, Dando, Benaulim. The teams were locked at 1-1 at halftime.
United Boys of Dando dominated proceedings early on, creating several scoring opportunities. Their efforts paid off in the 31st minute when Mackinley Cunha broke the deadlock with a sharp finish past the goalkeeper. However, Seraulim responded swiftly, with Selroy Fernandes leveling the score in the 22nd minute.
After the break, Dando Colva came out stronger and continued to press high. Sanford Rodrigues put his side back in the lead with a well-taken goal, and in the 87th minute, Oshlum Fernandes sealed the victory with a clinical strike.
In another match, United Club of Verna cruised to a 6-0 win over St. Sebastiao Youth Club Murida. Dadapeer Patil starred with four goals (17’, 45+1’, 64’, 78’), while Joasle Fernandes (66’) and Aditya Kumar (90+1’) also got on the scoresheet in a dominant display.
