Goan legislators Yuri Alemao, the leader of the opposition and Cuncolim MLA, and Altone D'Costa, the Quepem MLA, who are in Qatar to watch FIFA World Cup matches, interacted with a number of Goans along with Goan Welfare Association president Simon D'Silva.
Yuri and Altone shared their views on the high quality of the organisation by FIFA and the Qatar government as they experienced the excitement among Goans who have been attending the World Cup matches.
Kuwait-based Salgaocar legend Gasper Crasto presented some interesting inputs that could be implemented to improve the declining state of Goan football. The interaction session was hosted by enthusiastic football-loving couple Natcey and Melwyn Barretto at their home, decked in a festive ambience.
