Gayatri Bharat Jadhav, a chess player and Biotech Engineer, made history as the first woman from Satara district, Maharashtra, to earn the prestigious Senior National Arbiter (SNA) title. She achieved this feat by passing the SNA Exam with an A grade during the SNA Seminar held in Panaji on December 7 and 8.
Expressing her gratitude, Gayatri thanked IA Anantharaman and IA Shradha Vinchwekar for their invaluable guidance throughout her journey. She has gained extensive experience by officiating at numerous chess tournaments in Pune.
As a player, Gayatri has an impressive record, including winning the silver medal at the All India West Zonal Chess Championship in Haryana (2018-19). She has also earned several prizes for her college, KIT College of Engineering in Kolhapur.
Currently, Gayatri is working as an Engineer at IZiel Healthcare in Magarpatta, Pune.
