Guardian Angel SC, Curcheorem, outclassed Curtorim Gymkhana 3-0 to reach the quarterfinals of the 8th Martin’s Cup Football Tournament, organized by Betalbatim Sporting Club, at the Panchayat Ground, Betalbatim, on Thursday.
Regan Costa opened the scoring in the 4th minute, beating the defence and goalkeeper Johnson Bagot. Vitorinho Fernandes doubled the lead in the 10th minute and completed his brace with a third goal in the final quarter.
Oswin Rodrigues, Guardian Angel’s goalkeeper, was named Player of the Match for his stellar performance between the posts by Gladwin Fernandes.
