Saipem Sports Club has constituted its Managing Committee for the 2026–2027 term during its General Body meeting held at the club premises on Sunday. The formation of the new committee comes as the club prepares to celebrate its Diamond Jubilee year, marking 60 years of its establishment.
Lawerence Luke Fernandes was unanimously re-elected as President, reflecting the continued trust and confidence of the members in his leadership. Anand Bandodkar has been appointed as Vice President, while Clayton Sierro will serve as General Secretary.
Cipriano D’Souza has taken charge as Treasurer and will oversee the club’s financial matters. Raj Nanodkar has been named Sports Secretary and will be responsible for coordinating sporting activities and events.
Karan Morajkar and Maria Cardozo have been appointed as Assistant Secretaries, assisting in sports and administrative functions respectively to ensure the smooth operation of the club.
The General Assembly officials for the year were also announced, with John S. M. Fernandes continuing as Chairman and Santu Trinidade serving as Secretary.
The newly elected committee has expressed its commitment to promoting sportsmanship, enhancing community engagement, and further developing sporting and cultural activities in Saipem. Members have voiced optimism that the club will achieve greater success as it celebrates its milestone Diamond Jubilee year.
