Somnath Sports and Cultural Club, Adnem emerged champions of the All Goa Ward-wise Cricket Tournament organized by Cupwada Sports & Cultural Club, while Dead Body Savordem finished as runners-up.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by chief guest Prof. Shantaram Velip, along with club president Ramanand Deikar, secretary Pradeep Deikar, treasurer Digamber Gaonkar, and other dignitaries.
In the final, Somnath Club posted 47 runs in 3 overs. In response, Dead Body Club managed 34 runs, falling short by 13 runs, as Somnath clinched the title.
Saiesh Velip was adjudged Best Fielder and also bagged the Player of the Tournament award, while Mahendra Velip was named Best Bowler.
