MARGAO: United Friends Colony, Marlem booked their place in the final of the 2nd Lourdes Festive Floodlight Volleyball Tournament, organised by United Boys of Ambaulim at the Ambaulim Volleyball Ground.
In the first semifinal, United Friends Colony, Marlem registered a straight-sets victory over Saptakoteshwar Boys, Morpirla, winning 25-17, 25-19 and 25-23.
The second semifinal proved to be a thrilling five-set encounter, with B B Brothers, Raia edging past Rumad, Usgao 23-25, 25-19, 25-17, 19-25 and 15-9 to seal their spot in the final.
The grand final will be played on 8 February 2025 at 4.30 pm, where B B Brothers, Raia will face United Friends Colony, Marlem at the Ambaulim Volleyball Ground.
