A group of dedicated and passionate students from Goa have come together to form an organisation known as SocialPact, with the aim to uplift their peers, fostering skill development, and contributing to positive societal change.

SocialPact, founded by Rudresh Natekar, an alumnus of Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao, is on a mission to create a strong, representative organisation of students across the region.

OBJECTIVES

Natekar said the organisation's objectives reflect its commitment to empowering students and bringing about positive change in Goa's social and educational landscape.

“SocialPact's primary goal is to establish itself as a robust representative organisation for students across Goa. By uniting students from various institutions and fields, the organisation aims to amplify their collective voice and influence,” said Natekar.

“SocialPact provides a common platform for students to interact, learn, and innovate. By fostering collaboration and entrepreneurship, the organisation seeks to create opportunities for students to thrive.”

Highlighting the importance of maintaining cross-field connections, Natekar said SocialPact ensures that students from different fields and professions can connect and share knowledge and experiences, to stay current with the latest trends and interests.

As part of efforts to encourage and motivate students, Natekar informed that the organisation actively encourages and motivates students in areas such as sports, robotics, education, and legal information, to inspire them to pursue their passions and excel in their chosen fields.

“SocialPact is committed to unleashing potential by creating opportunities that enable students to discover and unlock their full potential.

“Besides, following the vision of "Atmanirbhar Bharat" (SelfReliant India), SocialPact volunteers actively contribute to student growth and development,” he added.

VISION

With a vision for a better future, Natekar said SocialPact encompasses a range of ambitious goals.

“SocialPact aims to impact the lives of more than 10,000 students across Goa, providing them with ample opportunities to shine in their respective fields,” said Natekar.

As part of efforts to collaborate with educational institutions and government bodies, Natekar said SocialPact plans to sign Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with a majority of colleges and government bodies to make meaningful contributions to India's self-reliance mission, "Atmanirbhar Bharat."

Emphasising the importance of hosting and participating in events, he added that SocialPact will organise and participate in state, national, and international-level events like education, robotics and sports.

“These events will serve as platforms to spread awareness about the organisation's mission and the importance of skill development,” Natekar said.

TEAM

The team behind SocialPact consists of Rudresh Natekar (Founder President), Prachee Redkar (Secretary), Sairaj Sawant (Treasurer), Tanvi Dharangutti (Assistant Treasurer), Saiom Chanekar (Technical Head), Micha Fernandes (Sports Head), Shreeya Bhagat (Education Head), Shubham Shetmandrekar (Human Resource Head) and Anket Bandodkar (Media and Marketing Head).
