Pax of Nagoa beat Cuncolim Union 4-1 and moved into the quater-finals of all Goa 23rd inter-village tournament Lourdes Festival soccer organized by United Club of Utorda in association with Our Lady of Lourdes-Utordekars in UAE at SAG Utorda grounds.
Cuncolim Union scored through Clifton Fernandes in the 15th minute off a fine back pass from Frazer Fernandes. Pax of Nagoa equalized in the 18th minute off a good placement by Savio Fernandes and the goalkeeper was taken by surprise. He was assisted by Hilton Pereira.
Noel D Silva increased the lead for Nagoa in the 27th minute off a neat shot from 50 yards. The score at lemon-time was 2-1.
Cuncolim's Aenshe Fernandes missed an easy scoring chance in the 50th minute with only goalkeeper at his mercy. Cuncolim made several inroads into rival territory.A pass by Frazer Fernandes saw Norman Fernandes missing out on a golden opportunity to score. Savio completed his brace in the 55th minute. Ajay increased the tally in the dying minutes.
