Goa’s Sanjula in SZ U-19 women's cricket team
Panaji: Cricket player Sanjula Naik of Goa has been selected in the South Zone Under-19 Women's team to participate in the Inter-Zonal Tournament to be held at Ranchi from January 17 to 30, 2016. Vanita Bandari also from Goa will be on stand-by, Goa Cricket Association (GCA) stated in a release. The South Zone Under-19 Women's team is as follows: Prathyusha C (captain),Anusha N (vice-captain),Shubha Satish, Akshaya A, Durga M (wk), Sanjana Batni (wk), Sanjula Naik, Ramya D, Jhansi Lakshmi, Chkaavya K, Pranathi Reddy, Padmaja E, Sneha G, Sahana Pawar, Bhavana M and Dhatri K.

Cross Country trial at Fatorda
PANAJI: The Goa Athletic Association will conduct the cross country trial on December 18 at Fatorda outer track at 3.30 pm.The trial will be held for men and women.They should report to athletic coach Patrick Soares at the venue.Selected athletes will represent Goa at the 50th National Cross Country which will be held on January 10, 2016 in Pune.
