Jason Francis Correia, Std VIII of Assumpta High School Sarzora appeared for aptitude for research in stamps. He submitted a project 'Flora and fauna of India and the world' under Philately and Numismatic club of the school guided by Rolando de Melo. The scheme of promotion of scholarship under Deen Dayal SPARSH yojana 2022-23. He received the scholarship of Rs 6000 with citation on March 16, being ranked third in Maharashtra circle including Goa, Pune and Aurangabad.
He is the son of Alvito and Jocelyn Correia of Codeavado, Chinchinim.
