St Anthony's Sports Club, Marna-Siolim stormed into the semifinals of 39th All Goa Cana Benaulim Soccer organized by Cana Benaulim Sporting Association with a deserving 2-0 win over Sporting Club of Davorlim at St John the Baptist ground, Dando-Benaulim on Sunday. St Anthony's Sports Club led 1-0 at the break.

St Anthony's Sports Club held the upper hand in the opening session and drew their first blood in the 17th minute when striker Sangam Pednekar capitalised on a goalmouth scrimmage and punted the ball in. Down by the early reversal, Sporting Club upped the ante and spurned a golden chance in the 18th minute when rival defenders handle the ball inside the penalty box and Bonnie Niasso hit the cross bar with the resultant spot kick.

After change of ends, Sporting Club showed better application and urgency and their forwards unleashed a couple of pot shots but rival goalkeeper Salil Chari showed fine anticipation to keep the slate clean. Paresh Kalangutkar scored the insurance goal in the 50th minute.
