The much-awaited Goan festival, ‘Festa São João Dubai’, celebrated its milestone 10th edition with an event bigger, bolder, and livelier than ever before. The sold-out celebration took place at QD’s, offering guests a magical evening set against the serene waters of Dubai Creek.
The atmosphere pulsed with energy as the festivities unfolded, brought to life by the dynamic trio behind Dubai Goans, Neville Menezes, Billy Fernandes and Allen Fernandes, who have delivered spirited and memorable Goan experiences in the UAE.

Festa São João Dubai delivered a sensory feast, featuring captivating rhythms that spanned Goan and international music genres, vibrant dance and the tempting aromas of traditional Goan cuisine.
Guests embraced the festive spirit, dressing in colourful São João attire and proudly wearing the traditional Kopel—floral headpieces that are symbolic of the joyous celebration. The Kopel competition was a highlight, with participants showcasing impressive creativity through beautifully crafted and imaginative designs.
Adding to the excitement was a historic musical lineup. For the first time ever, Goa’s top musicians united on a single stage in Dubai. The event was headlined by Goa’s global icon, Mark Revlon and Band, whose electrifying performance set the tone for an unforgettable night full of rhythm, soul, and celebration.
Sharing the spotlight were renowned Goan duo bands ‘Music Fever’ and ‘Johnny with Reza’, bringing their unique styles and infectious energy that had the crowd on their feet throughout the night.
Representing the best of Dubai’s local talent, performers including Mervin (One Man Band), EZD 2.0, DJ Tony, DJ Manfred, and DJ Nathan delivered high-energy sets that kept the momentum going well into the night. The event was hosted by the charismatic Emcee Sharon, who ensured a smooth flow and lively interaction with the audience.
This musical extravaganza was more than just a concert—it was a celebration of culture, unity, and the incredible talent that bridges Goa and Dubai.
