PANAJI: The Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Institutional Innovation Council of Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim, Salcete - Goa organised a workshop on “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” for the students of Rosary Higher Secondary School, Navelim-Goa on August 31. This workshop was conducted by M.Com Part I students Kajal Madhar, Melvin D’Costa, Shafeena Shaikh and Asst. Prof. Jitendra Rabada (Faculty).
The main purpose of the workshop was to bring an insight of entrepreneurial mindset amongst the students which can help them develop their business planning skills and also develop innovative products. The workshop was mapped to disclose various sources of funding and various resources required to start a business. The workshop was attended by 22 students and one faculty Kingel De Sa.
The students participated enthusiastically and discussed case studies of startups in terms of business development, product launching and marketing strategies. The workshop was designed to help the students to increase their creative thinking and to certainly generate innovative business ideas.
