PANAJI: The Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya will organise Mahashivratri Mahotsav 2026 in Goa from February 14 to February 21, with a series of free competitions and spiritual activities for the public.
The celebrations will be held daily from 9.30 am to 10.30 pm at a venue near the Shiv Shakti Petrol Pump, Harvalem, Sankhali, opposite the Goa College of Physiotherapy and the Goa College of Naturopathy and Yogic Science.
As part of the Mahashivratri programme, the organisation will also launch a nationwide awareness campaign titled “Mera Bharat, Nasha Mukt Bharat – Mera Goa, Nasha Mukt Goa”, aimed at promoting a healthy, addiction-free and value-based lifestyle, especially among youth.
Several competitions will be organised for different age groups. Participation is free of cost, and winners will receive prizes, trophies and certificates. Interested participants can submit their entries by February 12.
