MARGAO: The Catholic Men’s Conference, was held at Carmelite Monastery, Aquem - Alto, Margao on February 5 from 4:30 pm to 8 pm.
The highly interactive session concluded with the celebration of the Sunday Eucharistic celebration.
Around 60 men from different walks of life all over Goa, attended the conference, which was conducted by Fr Mario Fernandes, OCD (Canada) and Fr Alvito Fernandes, OCD, from Divine Springs Monastery, Xellim, Canacona.
While Fr Mario worked through topics of, ‘touch of Christ in your life’ and, ‘lifestyle patterns among the young’, he preached about the daily God experience in one’s life by allowing a personal time of silence where one lets God speak through the daily encounter with Jesus.
The conference ended with the Sunday Eucharistic celebration by Fr Mario and concelebrated by Fr Alvito.
