MARGAO: Damodar HSS of Gudi Paroda thumped Pope Jon XXIII HS of Quepem 4-0 to emerge champs of the Quepem Taluka U-17 Subroto Mukherjee football tournament, at Pontemol football ground, Curchorem, on Saturday.
Mildroy Menezes and Terrence Lima netted a brace each for Damodar HSS. Earlier, in the semifinal Damodar HSS defeated Guardian Angel HSS of Curchorem 3-0. Damodar HSS will now represent Quepem Taluka in the District Level Subroto Mukherjee football tournament.
