PANAJI: The Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) will soon launch the ‘One Taluka One Product’ initiative aimed at boosting local industries, promoting economic growth, and generating employment across Goa. As part of the preparation, the DITC has called for public suggestions to help identify unique products that can be developed or promoted in each taluka. The initiative seeks to make use of local resources, traditional skills, and area-specific expertise.
Residents, entrepreneurs, artisans, and stakeholders are encouraged to suggest potential products that could benefit from focused promotion under the scheme. Suggestions should include a brief product description, the taluka’s specific advantages for producing it, its market potential, and any existing challenges. Submissions can be made through Google Form https://forms.gle/yBJeVeFSvtS766oW8 or emailed to dir-indu.goa@nic.in. The deadline for sending suggestions is 30 days from the date of the announcement.
