Dr Cheryl Venan Dias

Dr Cheryl Venan Dias has been awarded the prestigious DD Kosambi Research Fellowship under the Post-Doctoral Scheme of the Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa for the year 2021-22. She is the first lady to be conferred this fellowship in Goa in the Post-Doctoral category. The topic of research is ‘Glimpses of Goan Culture through Village Tourism Clusters’. Dr Cheryl is heading the Post-Graduate Department of Tourism Studies (MTTM), at DCT’s SS Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Cujira.
