MARGAO
The death of the native of Karnataka at Margao, who had a fatal fall from the second floor of a city-based hotel, turned out to be a murder. The Margao Police has registered a case of murder in connection with the death of Bashir, a native of Bhatkal, Karnataka. Upon the complaint of Ganesh Tipukade, resident of Station Road Margao, to the effect that on April 30, between 02.19 hrs to 02.45 hrs at Green View Hotel, Station road Margao, accused person H Rafiq, native of Uttara-Kannada Karnataka, allegedly committed Bashir’s murder by pushing him out from the window of the second floor of Green view Hotel. The Margao police has registered a case of murder under 103 (1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Further investigation is being conducted by PI Suraj Samant of Margao Police station.
