PANAJI: To mark Goa Revolution Day on June 18, the Aguad Port and Jail Complex at Sinquerim will offer free entry to all Goans. The heritage site, which once served as a prison during Portuguese rule, invites Goans to explore its historic corridors and reflect on the legacy of the state’s liberation movement.
Entry will be free upon presentation of a valid government ID as proof of Goan identity. Visitors can tour the complex from 10 am to 8 pm on Wednesday and witness the site where freedom fighters were once held. The initiative aims to connect locals with Goa’s freedom struggle and honour the courage of those who contributed to it.
