German-Goan celebration of culture, craft & community

PANAJI

Held at Wild Orchid in Majorda, the second edition of Goa’s only German-Goan cultural festival the Brezelfest Goa 2025 drew over 700 visitors offering them bonanza of 42 vendors, live music, and a vibrant fusion of food, drink, and craft. The performance by the original Oktoberfest band from Munich - Die Kirchdorfer brought authentic Bavarian energy straight from Munich’s legendary Oktoberfest to Goa’s sunny shores. Sharing the stage with them was a local Goan band, ensuring the rhythm of the day stayed perfectly in tune with both Goan and German beats. Adding to the buzz was a pop-up market that showcased the very best of Goa’s creative and entrepreneurial spirit. From handcrafted jewellery and sustainable fashion to artisanal food, art, and home décor, the vendors were The Goa Fudge Co, Roo.ruh Naturally Kind, Mazor & Co., ANGIES, Ulta Pulta, BluToad, Quisitique, Rebello Farms, Oink, Il Casaro, Beno, Nolasca-fé, Mosaic Imprints, The Bayou by Frida Cantina, ALTAR LUXE, Meraaki Boutique, CraftsyBee, Micro Ferns, and many others. Organized for the second time by The South Collective - comprising Andrea Thumshirn (of Pausenbrot German Bakery), Ragini Dhingra (Studio PaddyFields), and Yogita Mehra (Green Essentials) - Brezelfest Goa has quickly grown into one of Goa’s most anticipated annual cultural experiences.
