PANAJI: The 14th Goa Arts and Literature Festival will open on February 12 at the International Centre Goa. Hosted with the Goa Writers Group, the three-day event features book launches, a Singapore delegation and Young GALF for children. Easterine Kire and Rakhshanda Jalil will inaugurate the festival, followed by the release of Forest Recipes of Goa. Alexyz will unveil the official artwork.
Jonathan Nunn will appear on February 13. Sessions include talks by Jerry Pinto, Sowmiya Ashok, Ravikant Kisana, Paromita Vohra and others. On February 14, Fish Curry and Rice and Appetite: New Writing from Goa will be launched. The programme also includes presentations, poetry readings and discussions with leading writers and scholars.
