Many times, when we wish to follow our dreams, negative thoughts like ‘what if I fail’ and ‘what will people say’ hold us back. A demotivated youth in search of a job meets a real-life book, Agostinho and they together journey towards a new understanding about what makes one truly happy in life. A Konkani short film, ‘This book will change your life’ based on this real-life story of physically disabled entrepreneur from Goa, Agostinho Fernandes, is available on YouTube to motivate people in these difficult times of the Covid-19 pandemic. Written, edited and directed by Ramprasad Adpaikar, the concept of the film is by motivational speaker and corporate trainer Amey Hegde, who is also the executive producer of the film along with Rajkishor Mhambrey. The 27-minute short film which can be viewed at https://youtu.be/OtjBglrcqeo was accepted for Cannes International Film Festival's Short Film Corner, May 2015. The film is in the fiction category for genres drama, social and youth and is in the digital form.
