Uzoorba Technologies LLP (Chorao) under its Konkanin World Music (KWM) will organise its first Solo Singing Competition on February 22. The contest will be held in three categories, Children below 16 years, Seniors above 60 years and General for a cash prize of Rs 40,000 for the Top 10 singers. Each participant can choose as many songs as he/she likes from the KWM website (https://kwm.vangdda.org/lyrics), video-record him/her singing these naturally without any sound effects or artificial voice enhancements, publish these videos on his, her Facebook, YouTube, Instagram channels, and, register his, her maximum 5 best videos in the simple Google Form (https://kwm.vangdda.org/SingReg) by February 10. These will be evaluated and a shortlist published by February 17 of the Top20 entries, which will go for the Semi-finals and then the Finals, both to be held on February 22 in Panaji.
