The State Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioner will take oath of office on March 2 at 10.30 a.m. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari will administer the oath of office to the newly appointed State Chief Information Commissioner Vishwas Ramnath Satarkar and State Information Commissioner Sanjay Narayan Dhavalikar at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula.
The Department of Information and Publicity had invited applications for filling up the vacancies of one post each of State Chief Information commissioner and State Information Commissioner in Goa State Information Commission in September 2020.The Department received tremendous response with good number of applications for the post. The three member Selection Committee recommended the name of Vishwas Ramnath Satarkar for the post of State Chief Information Commissioner and Sanjay Narayan Dhavalikar for the post of State Information Commissioner, as informed by Department of Information and Publicity.
