Padre Conceição College of Engineering (PCCE), Verna concluded its silver jubilee celebrations with a closing ceremony on December 2.
The highlight of the day was an exhibition of a project competition called ‘PCCE’s IDEAS’ - a Social Innovation Challenge by the students of PCCE. The word ‘IDEAS’ represents Innovate, Design, Evaluate and Apply Solutions. This was a 25-day engineering challenge designed to test the ingenuity of the students. They were required to develop creative solutions to real world social and environmental problems.
The Chief Guest, Prof. Harilal B. Menon, Vice Chancellor of the Goa University in his address congratulated the management and staff for reaching this milestone. The Guest of Honor, Nuvem MLA Aleixo Sequeira, MLA praised the work of the Agnel (Ashram) Region fathers and their pioneering work in Goa in the field of technical education.
