SBI donates oxygen   storage tank to GMC

On the occasion of SBI Foundatian Day, State Bank of India, Administrative Office, Panaji, Goa (Maharashtra Circle) hes donated one oxygen storage tank for 31,000 KL, costing Rs.70.21 lakh to Goa Medical College. SBI Foundation has sanctioned these funds under its CSR activity. This support will enable frontline workers and doctors at GMC Bambolim to provide prompt end quality treatment to patients struck with COV1D-19 who require critical care. This will also strengthen the efforts of the State Government to combat tne second wave of Covid in Goa and prepare for the anticipated third wave of Covid-19. A cheque of Rs 70.21 lakh was handed over to the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant at the hands of Ajay Kumar Singh, Chief General Manager, Maharashtra Circle. Sukhvinder Kaur, General Manager Network 1, Maharashtra Circle and Naveen Kumar Gupta, Deputy General Manager (B&O), Panaji Module were also present on the occasion. Also SBI staff posted at Administrative Office Panaji donated a sum of Rs 1,41,506 to Goa CSR Authority. The cheque for Rs 1.41,506, wee handed over to the Chief Minister at the hands of Sukhvinder Kaur, Genera! Manager, Network 1, Maharashtra Circle. Further, staff of State Bank of India also contributed one day's salary to PMCARE during this financial year.
