PANAJI: The NSS Unit of St Francis Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Siolim organised a Kopel making competition on the occasion of Sao Joao festival. The students came out with novel ideas and prepared a Kopel using wild flowers, wild fruits and colourful leaves.
The competition was held to create love for these unique festival and to know about the Goan culture, so that the future generations preserves this culture. The NSS programme officer teacher Tamaturgo Da’Silva coordinated the event.
