The Holy Family Communication Centre, Sancoale-Goa, conducted a three day programme on Training for Teachers on ‘Social Media Education ‘ from January 13 to 15 at Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim. 25 schools from the North and South of Goa participated. There were around 45 participants.
The Chief Guest was His Excellency Bishop Emeritus Alex Dias, SFX. The Guest of honour was Sr Berna Rodrigues, SFN the Superior General of the Congregation of Holy Family of Nazareth. The Inaugural Day began with a prayer dance by Vrinda and a Prayer Service on the theme “Let your Light Shine!’ was led by Sr Sukuria SFN the Directress of Holy Family Communication Centre (HOFCOM). Bishop Emeritus Alex Dias, SFX, spoke on Social Media Education. He highlighted on three things: communication, the pros and cons of social media today and how effectively Church promotes the use of Social Media Communication.
