Chief Minister Pramod Sawant visited the stall of Panchamrutha Industries Pvt Ltd at the inaugural event of Lokotsav 2023 at Darya Sangam, Panaji on January 30. Managing Director Jambulingappa Hosmani explained to CM on fortification of rice, the need and health advantages to the general public. Panchamrutha Industries Pvt Ltd is the first company in South India to have taken initiative on fortification in all its rice product range thus showing health concern as a return to the society by providing healthy rice with Iron, Zinc, Folic Acid Vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B6 & B12 at no added cost to burden the common man. The company is making continuous effort to educate and communicate to the public at large on healthy diet and health benefits where malnutrition and micronutrient deficiency which is highly prevalent in the mass. The whole process is recommended, certified and approved by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). Sawant sought insight on the product, process and appreciated the initiative.
