The Colva police have registered a FIR against a minor boy of 17 years for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl of 15 years.
The incident is believed to have allegedly occurred over a month ago. Incidentally, the Colva police have registered the FIR based on information provided by a doctor.
The Colva police have admitted that there is no complaint lodged by the victim or the parents of the minor girl and the case is registered by the police based on the information provided by a doctor to the Fatorda Police.
Maina-Curtorim PI Arun Desai, who his holding additional charge of Colva police station, has said the offence against the minor boy has been registered by the Colva police on Saturday.
The police is investigating.
