PANAJI: The nation would be celebrating Cooperative week from November 14 and Goa will also have various programmes on this occasion till November 20, stated Shrikant Naik, president, Goa State Cooperative Union.
The series of programmes will begin with the inauguration at the hands of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant at Shiroda. The week-long celebration will conclude with a programme by the Goa State Cooperative Bank at Panaji. Both these programmes will have the presence of Pramod Sawant and cooperation minister Subhash Shirodkar.
PANAJI: CMS Polyclinic & Laboratory Sangolda in collaboration with Saligao MLA Kedar Naik is organising a free medical camp on Sunday from 9 am to 12.30 pm. Registration starts at 8 am onwards on first come first serve basis.
According to organisers, free consultation services will be offered by ENT Dr Ehrolson De Souza, dentist Dr Trupti Swar, skin Dr Shubhalaxmi Pednekar, Gynaecologist Dr Manguirish Kenkre, eye specialist Dr Michelle Da Costa, orthopaedic Dr Amey Swar, chest specialist Dr Ashwini Colaco, surgeon Dr Viraj Kandolkar and team of CMS doctors. Besides, discounts on blood investigations, X-Ray and ECG will also be available.
MARGAO: The annual Christmas sale at the Gift Box will open on Sunday, offering a wide range of crockery, linen, flowers and other home items for the upcoming festival. The sale will be open every Sunday until Christmas.
The sale will be open at the St Anthony’s Complex, opposite the St Sebastian Church at Aquem-Alto, Margao. The sale is co-ordinated by Iris D’Souza and her daughter Lisa.
