Every available space for parking has been fully occupied amid the peak tourism season in Canacona and it has led to brawls along vehicle owners. In one such incident, Canacona police said Ratesh Pagi and Menino Pereira, both from Agonda, allegedly assaulted each other at Dhavalkhajan-Agonda on Friday evening over the blocking of parking space. Both persons sustained injuries and were admitted in the District Hospital at Margao. Canacona PI Chandrakant Gawas informed that offences have been registered against both persons following counter complaints and ASI Suresh Velip and HC Anand Naik are investigating the case.
