MARGAO: Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, in association with the Department of Information and Publicity and Goa College of Art, will organise centenary celebrations of eminent personalities K Vaikunth (Vaikunth Kuncolienkar), Padma Bhushan Laxman Pai and Padma Vibhushan Mario Miranda from June 11 to 13. The celebrations will begin on June 11 with an interaction session featuring Ramesh Sippy, Kiran Sippy and MP Hema Malini, followed by a screening of Seeta Aur Geeta. Chairman Rajendra Talak said painting and cartoon competitions themed “Goan Life” and “Spirit of Goa” respectively will be held for Goan artists, while exhibitions of original works by Mario Miranda and Laxman Pai will be displayed from June 12 to 15.
