The Anti-Narcotic Cell (ANC) on Thursday arrested a Kerala youth for allegedly possessing hydroponic weed and LSD blot papers valued at Rs 22 lakh in the international market.
The ANC officials informed that the 29-year-old was held from Siolim after weeks of technical surveillance and human intelligence gathering. He was produced before a magistrate and remanded to five days in police custody.
The raid was led by PSI Dindayal Redkar and his team, under the supervision of PI Sajith Pillai. The operation was conducted under the guidance of DySP ANC Nerlon Albuquerque and SP ANC Sunita Sawant.
