The newly appointed State Chief Information Commissioner (CIC), Aravind Kumar Nair, and State Information Commissioner (SIC), Atmaram Barve, on Tuesday took the Oath of Office.
Goa Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai administered the Oath of Office to the new CIC and SIC. The oath-taking ceremony was held at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula.
Both posts had fallen vacant in the first week of March, following the end of the term of then CIC, Vishwas Satarkar, and SIC, Sanjay Dhavalikar.
