Agency under the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication eyes strategic tie-ups to boost market share

With a focus on multi-fold growth through the expansion of services across various sectors, the Infotech Corporation of Goa (ITG) has decided to have strategic tie-ups with Indian startups.
The ITG has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Indian startups in the IT sector for empanelment and strategic tie-ups.
As per the EOI document, the initiative aims to expand ITG’s market share and strengthen its presence in domains like health-tech, edu-tech, fintech, AI, IoT, robotics, clean energy, smart cities, and e-governance and other technology driver services.
“Selected startups will collaborate with ITG on business opportunities in smart cities, security, intelligent traffic management, and waste management, among others. Post empanelment of partners, ITG will share suitable business opportunities with select partners for working in the appropriate model in order to fulfil its objective of multi-fold growth in its turnover and profitability,” ITG added.
“It is realised that such an initiative would need an effective alliance with Startup firms working in various field/new technologies areas to cross leverage respective strengths, for mutual business benefits,” it said further.
Eligible startups with a turnover of less than Rs 100 crore and under 10 years of incorporation can apply for tender documents till April 27. An entity shall be considered as a startup up to a period of 10 years from the date of incorporation/ registration.
ITG under the control of the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication (DITE&C), is currently providing various IT services to the government departments/institutions/organisations in the State and has set up the required IT Infrastructure for the use of e-governance application, etc in their respective offices with an aim towards creating an e-citizen for all transactions and for making Goa as an “Intelligent State”.
