In yet another people-centric move by the State government, the Department of Transport will be launching an online eService for obtaining learners licence without visiting RTO office.
The applicant has to answer an online test after watching a video about road safety which will be provided on the website. The assessment of test will be communicated to the applicant instantly and upon achieving of 60 per cent marks, a Learner Licence will be issued which the applicant can download and print.
The service is automated end-to-end with auto approval and any interaction with RTO office is eliminated. The service will be functional from July 5. Citizens can avail this facility by visiting https://parivahan.gov.in or https://goatransport.gov.in
The Department has also launched services related with goods permit in fully auto approval mode. With this, there is no need to visit RTO office to avail these services.
Department has carried out this business process in order to simplify the existing procedure and to deliver various services in quick manner with minimum hassles.
