Investigation team finds different rickshaw driver had taken couple to Chapoli Dam

In a twist to investigations into the porn video filmed at Chapoli Dam, Canacona police have found out that a different rickshaw driver had taken actress, Poonam Pandey, and her husband, Sam Bombay, to the Chapoli Dam.
Earlier, another person claiming to be the rickshaw driver had made certain allegations in front of the South Goa SP and other officials, claiming that he had seen a policeman in plain clothes at the site of the film shoot. The Canacona police inspector Tukaram Chawan was later placed under suspension amid accusations that he had been aware of the film shoot since a policeman in plain clothes was present at the site.
Sources told The Goan that Poonam Pandey reportedly submitted a statement to the police stating that she and her husband had gone from the hotel to Chapoli Dam in a rickshaw on their own, without mentioning it to anyone, or anybody’s knowledge.
Sources added that the investigating team headed by Canacona PI Therron D’Costa has already begun piecing together information.
As part of investigations, police have seized the CCTV footage from a hotel at Palolem, where the couple are alleged to have travelled to Chapoli Dam on two days, including the trial run on October 30.
As seen in the CCTV footage, police have reportedly found that another rickshaw driver had transported Poonam and Sam to Chapoli Dam on October 31, the day the film is reported to have been filmed.
Police will record the statement of rickshaw driver who had picked up the couple from the hotel. Police have also recorded a statement of the youth, who had been present along the agitating Jagruth Canconcars, where he claimed to have taken the couple to the dam in his rickshaw on two days.
