Well known Fadistas (Fado singers) who were specially invited for a Fado evening on August 7 at Cidade de Goa, were celebrated artists of the form; Sonia Shirsat, Miguel Cotta and Chantalle Cotta Viegas.
The musicians that accompanied them were the ever popularFranz Schubert Cotta playing Guitarra Portuguesa (Portuguese guitar) and CarlosMenezes on guitar. At Alfama, it’s not all about the music either.
