Grand Hyatt Goa has appointed Alejandro J Leo Cupul as the director of spa and recreation to spearhead the hotel's in-house spa facility, Shamana Spa. Alejandro hails from Merida in Mexico and has over sixteen years of experience in the spa industry.
Over his career, he has worked with leading international brands like Le Meridien, Rosewood and Orient Express Hotels.
Before joining Grand Hyatt Goa, Alejandro held the responsibility of corporate spa director at Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos in Mexico and Dominican Republic.
While managing the Kinan Spa of the Maroma Resort, Orient Express group, Alejandro personally over looked the wellness programs for celebrities like Dolce and Gabbana, Danny Devito, Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis.
Alejandro has exciting plans to develop Shamana Spa. With an aim to develop Grand Hyatt Goa as a leisure destination, Alejandro has introduced a versatile recreational menu offering fun activities like zoccer, wall climbing, zip line, rope course and more at the resort.
