Daniel Radcliffe opened up to BBC this week about his upcoming role in the film "Imperium," where he plays an FBI agent who goes undercover as a racist skinhead to infiltrate a white supremacist group. And when asked if Hollywood was racist, the “Harry Potter” star responded: "I think it's pretty undeniable."

"We like to think of ourselves as being a very, very progressive industry, but we have been lagging behind in all kinds of areas,” said Radcliffe and went on to point out various issues with diversity in the film industry beyond just race.

Radcliffe explained that he also believed it was difficult for gay actors to come out publicly out of fear of being typecast. “I suppose then people just want to cast you as gay,” he said.
