Pascaol Joao Fernandes' annual football coaching camp for boys concluded at SFS Seminary football grounds at Bastora on November 22. The camp went on for 15 days.
Pascaol, who has been in the forefront of the football coaching activities for Bardez over 20 long years was felicitated by Glen Souza Ticlo, MLA. The first coaching camp for youngsters was held at Vaddem grounds in the year 1995.For the last 10 years, the camp was shifted to Bastora, SFS Seminary football grounds.
This year itself there were 40 young enthusiasts who attended the camp everyday
for the training that was conducted by Thomas Fernandes, who was the coach for the camp,under the supervision of Pascaol.
Pascaol who is the founder and camp director feliciated a number of personalities who had been helping him with their hardwork and timely efforts to carry out the camp right from the onset.
Glen Ticlo, MLA, a football enthusiast was the chief guest and handed over the prizes and trophies to the participants.Fr Felix Mendes, Fr Jose Fernandes,Rector of the Seminary were also present.
