Sesa Football Academy put in a wasteful performance as they paid the price for their profligacy, settling for a 1-1 draw with Curtorim Gymkhana in the GFA First Division league at DYSA ground, Curtorim on Thursday.

After a barren first session, both the teams played aggressively and Sesa sounded the warning for the rival citadel when Daniel Lobo’s solo effort shot hit the rival goalpost in the 47th minute.
Curtorim Gymkhana broke the deadlock in the 61st minute when Roque Borges headed home off a Wayne Rodrigues lob to beat the rival goalkeeper. However, their joy was short-lived and a minute later Anil Chawan neutralized the lead with a
clinical finish.
